Fish Filter A Must! (Get two!)

We've had our tank for three years and this lil' filter has done the trick. If you want a super clean tank this is a great filter for clean water. Note: There will always be some settled "gunk" at the bottom from fish waste . . . no fear. The solution is easy! Simply remove the fish into a holding tank using their current water. Remove all of your decorative tank itmes. Now, stir up the rocks/marbles etc. really good. It will look terrible! Plug in a second filter for about two hours . . . and your water is back to "gunk" free. It's much easier to buy a second unit than hauling the 80lb tank in the bathroom. Sure, "HE-MEN" can lift 80lbs . . . but you don't have to. Besides just a lil' wrong pressure and you've snapped the tank! Happy fishing!

Very well built product. Works exactly as expected and is very quiet. Easy to follow instructions. Filter media seems to slow water flow early so I would recommend purchasing a filter atleast one size bigger than the instructions recommend along with unplugging the filter for each feeding and water changes ( for no more than 15-20 mins. ) To prevent excess material from being pulled into the filter.

I have purchase the whisper Power filter 60, I have to say for ther price it is a very good product. I agree with the customer whom stated that you should unplug it during feeding time, it will suck the fish food right up into the filter. It is a very powerful filter system, and it does just what it is made to do. it works better than some of these high end canister filters. I like it very much. This filter is on my 55 Gallon freshwater tank with my canister filter. I have very clearwater and tank stays clean. 10-4.

It's basic, easy to use, but lacks the versatility of an aquaclear and the bio-wheel of a Marineland filter. But I was aware of that when I ordered it. My tank already has a marineland hob filter so this one will be used alongside it. I just needed a little extra filtration and water circulation and this filter fit the bill.

This is a okay filter, it does suck up most of the junk in the tank, watch your fish though because i've had 2 get stuck to it. I bought this for my 20 gallon tank, with only a few fish. But the filter is about ready to overflow. I pluged it in and it sucks the water up and it goes so high it starts to leak out. im afriad ov it overflowing! Mine doesnt have a atop to it and im not sure it's suppose to so im going to try and take it back because i cant stop thinking about my filter thru out the day knowing nobody is there to shut it off if it over flows.

I bought the 10 gallon size to use on my 10 gallon Quarantine tank. I keep fancy goldfish. I've had the product about 6 months now, and so far, the results have been pretty disappointing. It doesn't do a very good job of biological filtration, as after only a day or so, I'm already showing ammonia, even if there is only one goldfish in the tank. It did help to change the filter media to media from an Aquaclear 110 filter, as the original filter pad wore out very quickly, and didn't provide enough surface area, in my opinion. It is quiet, and so far it hasn't let me down, I just think it does a poor job of filtration, and it does not meet my expectations at all.
