Wild Planet has the best canned fish. You can feel confident in their product knowing that it's not farmed salmon and their fishing practices are environment-friendly. I know it's a bit pricey, but it's the best canned salmon I've had. I will eat it right out of the can or mix it with some avocado and put it on crackers. I found a foolproof recipe for salmon patties and the flavor and texture of this product is fantastic
(Based on the first can that I opened.) Skinless and boneless Salmon pieces were firm and tasted close to fresh. I did not have to discard any un-edible (unlike other brands I have tried) portions from the can. On the negative side the 6 oz portion has two major disadvantages: the size of pieces is small, and the 6 oz portion is too small for two servings. I would recommend that "Wild Planet" replace the 6 oz can with a 7.5 oz can.
I love it best of all canned salmon.
I love this product. It's great on salads.
I LOVE this salmon! I never knew it could taste so good from a can. This is going to help on my vacation!
This Salmon is great on anything that fresh Salmon can be used on.
Do you think we don't see that you are padding your cans of salmon with more and more loose fat? This photo shows what I easily pulled out of ONE can of sockeye salmon. You have raised your prices while reducing the amount of actual salmon in the cans, "hiding" most of that fat on the bottom. You have always done this, but not to this extent. Shame on you.
The salmon was dry as a bone. The only way this might be edible is if it was put in a salad and drenched with dressing. Maybe.
Wanted to order the no salt added but it appears to no longer be available. Will have to check other sources.
