Detailed product description

When you need extra airflow in your home, office or outdoor seating area, you will want to choose the WindChaser WindChill Indoor/Outdoor Misting Fan. It will dramatically reduce surrounding temperatures to make your room or patio feel more comfortable. This innovative fan cools with a 16" oscillation misting fan. The WindChaser fan comes with a high-velocity, three-speed option, so you can control the amount of airflow in your room. The shower-proof motor and immersion-shock protection will help you feel safe while you are using the 16" misting fan. The WindChaser WindChill Indoor/Outdoor Misting Fan is both durable and affordable. When it is the middle of summer, you will enjoy the cool air that comes from this fan. How it works: Just hook it up to any water hose, and the water travels through the hose and the water is jetted out of 4 misting heads on the misting hub on the front of the fan head. The holes are so small that the water pressure sprays out the water in a fine mist.WindChaser WindChill Indoor Outdoor Misting Fan:

I bought this fan for an outdoor party. The day was 96, sunny, hot and humid. The fan was the hit of the party. We set it up near the tables and bar. People would go up and stand near it get cooled off and the closest table was hard to get a seat at! Everyone asked where I got it and a few teased me they were taking it home at the end of the night. Don't have an outdoor party without it. I plan on using it on my deck all summer long

Our house sits in the sun all day and no shade on the back deck except for the canopy, we hook this up and just chill on the back deck, it really cools you down.

The wind chill fan is a most innovative product as a grandmother raising a 4 year old grandchild, this product is worth every cent paid. We enjoy it on the deck every day, this way we can get out with the grandchildren and play without getting overheated, it is great! We are going to purchase a few more for the kids and other areas in our yard. Thank you Walmart!!

A fan is a fan is a fan. Great concept but it hasn't been warm enough yet to really see how much it cools down. That's my reason for three stars on "Meets Expectations". It's big, a little tricky but still easy to set up. Sprays an awful lot of water though. Don't need continuous flow of water either. Turn on the hose, let it spray for a bit, then shut the water off. There'll be plenty in the hose for a while. Using the tilt is a little tricky. I loosened it as much as I could but still had to yank hard to get it to tilt. Doesn't oscilate very well when tilted either. Will turn to one side then just flop around.

I bought this fan as I couldn't find the ones I usually purchase from Walmart for ourselves and others. We prefer the high velocity fans of industrial strength. Well, this one just loves to shut down every 20-25 minutes. We even have it plugged in a surge protector. Then when it feels like it, the fan top slides down to the bottom of its poll! This is no where worth the amount of money paid. Bring back the pedestal high velocity steel blade fans of industrial strength that is a little cheaper than this.

I was thrilled last year when I bought my windchaser misting fan. Finally I would be able to use my new deck even on hot days. The fan soaked everything within a 7 foot radius. If I wanted to get wet I'd jump in the pool not sit on the deck. I used it for circulation of air only.I could have gotten a much cheaper fan to do that. I took it out of storage last week. It was in my dry garage. I plugged it in and blew the circuit breaker. after having the rusted plug replaced, I tried again.Nothing. the wires in the motor were fused together. It is now in my trash. I called Windchaser products, inc. and got their voice mail. It instructed me to go online or leave a message. Why did the plug on an "outdoor" fan/mister rust while stored for the winter in a dry garage? Don't bother to buy it.
