We removed the single screw in the base and put two screws offset in the base instead so it would hold two ears of corn. Looks great on the privacy fence.
We have really enjoyed watching the squirrels eat the corn off this made well easy to install!
the squirrels I give corn to like the idea of resting while eating. This stand works well for allowing them to do that.
The squirrel feeder in the picture DOES NOT look anything like what I received! The one pictured looks like cedar or something the one I got is just plain old wood. The screws to hold it to the tree were missing and there was only ONE hole to attach it to the tree so it tends to spin/tilt a bit when the corn cob is put on there. And the screw to hold the corn cob, the one at the base of the feeder... it was crooked, I bought two of them and they were BOTH like that. The one pictured looks pretty nice, the ones I got were NOT so nice, very dissapointed in them. Should have saved my money and gone somewhere local to buy them!
