A SAW that an Older Person Feels Safe Using

I'm 67 years old and love the JAWSAW! It's easy to use, safe and does a fantastic job trimming tree limbs. Was skeptical about all your claims but now a satisfied believer.

My husband loves the extension pole for his JawSaw! We have a lot of hedge trees on our property & it helps to get to branches he just can't get close to. It works really well! So far he loves all the Worx products I have gotten for him!

String Trimmer

I love my WORX string trimmer - it's light weight and easy to use - the best thing is the automatic feed of the string - I'm just sorry I didn't buy one years ago - and it stays charged forever

Ease of Use

This extension pole has made trimming my trees so much easier. I have climbed ladders all my life because I am a retired lineman. The extension allows me to work on the ground with ease because of back and hip surgeries. I LOVE IT!

Worx-Worx JawSaw and extension pole

I purchased the extension to go with the jawsaw. It was purchased for me to use for an 83 year old man. I keep his branches etc sawed off so he can watch the neighborhood children pay. The JawSaw is my favorite of all.

Good accessory within limits

I specifically purchased the extension for my JawSaw in order to get a higher reach on some large limbs in trees that could not be accessed with standard pruning saws or a standard chainsaw due to tangled branches and safety concerns. The pole extension is a well engineered design for what it can do. Users should be aware that the JawSaw is a relatively heavy device on a long torque arm, so is best used with the user standing pretty much under or just to the side of any branches being cut up high. The assembly gets very heavy the more off vertical it is reaching, and the user must be very aware of where the limb will fall when cut. Longer branches of any weight should be cut piece by piece in small segments rather than in close to a main branch or trunk because whatever is cut is going to come down on or very close to the user. I can recommend this accessory to owners of the JawSaw as a useful device as long as you are aware of the limitations noted above.

Works well

Used on a few trees, works well but is very top heavy on high branches. Hard to keep it from dropping to the ground after it cuts through the branch..

Great idea

Although the extention pole is a great idea, after putting it together with the jawsaw it was far too heavy to cut more that one or two branches before putting it down. I love the Jawsaw and would recommend it to any as an excellent and safe saw

Useful

This is a good idea for making the JawSaw more useful, however not everyone has the strength to support the weight of the JawSaw over their head, and at the same time push the jaw saw into a limb that moves away while you are holding the saw and also pressing the trigger. I have better than average upper body strength as I have been a mechanic all of my adult life. Few women would be able to operate this tool "over their head" as shown in the advertisement. Perhaps some mention of that in the advertising would be advisable. I suspect the weight of the motor cannot be reduced anymore without taking away from its cutting power.

Broke after 1 cut

Reviewed in the USA on 2017-08-23T17:00:00

While I love the JawSaw, the extension pole is too cheaply made to be useful. I cut one branch with it and the pole bent as it is so thin and frail, it cannot withstand the weight of the saw! I tried to use it again and the pole snapped in half.
