my son love this Lumi Gaming Drone.
Easy for kids to play with, propeller guards make it safe, obstacle avoidance feature is good, battery last for quite a while. The charger burnt out on the first one and Walmart replaced it with no fuss. Kids loved the flip trick. I getting a second one for another grand child.
My son really enjoyed this drone and it's easy operation. I didn't realIze the drone was operated via smartphone and you have to have Bluetooth. But the drone works well and does everything it said it would. My only negative is that the battery didn't last very long, but it did charge relatively quickly.
Purchased this for my son and my husband. They love it! It's easy for a child to control, yet even fun for adults! A win win.
So easy to learn. It does take some practice and time but we'll worth it.
The battery dies very fast. The only complaint
My Kid loves it, its a good product for that price
This is a small toy drone. It is fun to use. However, it only works on hard ground like a solid (not carpeted) indoor floor. Some features are fun, like games to music or pre-programmed stunt moves.
This is a hard review to do. There are 3 of us age 62 or older trying to fly this thing. An 8 year old probably wouldn’t have had a problem. When we ordered it we didn’t realize we would have to download the app to the iPad. It took us all evening to get everything ready so it would fly. One problem is the battery only lasts for 8 minutes of flying time. I will say it is pretty sturdy because we have ran it into walls and crashed it several times. We bought it on sale for $20 and we have had lots of laughs for 20 bucks.
Controlling this toy using a phone is a pain. The range is very short and when it gets out of range the controls disappear from the phone/tablet screen. I can see it being ok for a small child, but otherwise I recommend getting a small drone with headless mode
