I purchased 5 pair of these jeans for my husband at his request. He is very pleased with the style and fit, and the premium denim. The only disappointment when ordering was that the pant length he needed was not available, so he had to get them altered. That added significantly to the price of buying the jeans.
Theses standard 100% cotton 5 Star Jeans have been my go-to for years. They were out of production for a long time and had to order the stretch/spandex version, which I simplly do not like. They're OK I guess when the regular version was unavailable.
I have the same stock number jeans I bought probably 30 years ago and are still going strong. I ordered same stock number and are same quality and fit as the older ones. Very good!
I have a pair of black Wrangler's Premium Quality I bought 8 years ago, I like to wear them as dress pants as I live in the woods of Southern Oregon, there just aren't a lot of dress slack moments out here, but they're still in great shape after all that time, a little faded from time, wear and washing which is why I bought the new pair. There's a couple of things I like to have with my pants, one that I can get 48" waist with the 29" inseam and second, that they have 9 belt loops, and the wrangler's have them both. They're great pant for any occasion or job. And they're great value, something you can't say about some other major brands.

I bought this product to replace the worn out Wranglers I was wearing as it was the same style and fit. They fit just like my older ones and are just as comfortable. I will definitely buy these again when I wear these pairs out.
Purchased other pants and have no problems with them. This one is very tight at the waist. The length is longer than 32" seam. I have always ordered on line or purchased at stores 34 by 32. I need to send these back but I didn't keep the slip because in the past the pants have fit perfectly. I will call to get help on this matter.
Unfortunately have to return as this style of jeans did not fit my Son. I had correct size but I guess not the correct style. That's why hard to buy on line!
I'm a 50" waist x 29" inseam. Problem occurs when cutting a 38" inseam down to a 29" you end losing any taper at all. Thus it's a very baggy looking fit from above my knee to my ankle. Less avoidable if the jeans were not one inseam fits all but the again I'm not the average Joe. Wrangler quality for the price is great.
I had purchased several other Five Star jeans and I was fine with those. Apparently I did not realize there were several fits in the Five Star Jeans . I wish the item number was available, maybe it is and I just failed to look it up so I can get the right ones the first time.
