This is a cool little book! My teenage daughter loved it!! Now that my youngest Daughter is old enough, she wants it too!! It's fun to watch them wreck their journal and they have a blast!!
I purchased this for my daughter and there's so much in the Journal to do. She loves it! Every where else it costs at least five dollars more than it did at Walmart.com, great deal, fun book!
Wreck this journal was a great gift for my niece. She is constantly working on destroying and doing what the journal suggests. Lots of fun!!
I'm going to make this review short, because what I really want to say is that this book is fabulous and inspiring and everyone should get it, especially people suffering from perfectionism. It is a journal that you destroy and mangle: YES you must mangle this book! We are all so trapped in being right and perfect and we live in insane little boxes where mistakes are frowned upon or not tolerated. This book says LIVE! BE HUMAN! But then again, that is my book and what it says to me. Yours will be different. Get this book, but whatever you do, don't just stick it on a shelf.
I bought this book for my daughter and she was so excited when she opened her gift.
I think this is a very good ways to get children into keeping a journal. They have a book they have to open up everyday to do something. I think this book needs to be given to older children that know you are not normally suppose to deface books, however I think a 3rd or 4th grader that doesn't want to open up a book could really benefit from this book. My favorite thing about this book is how interactive it is.

Tonight I'm going to sleep with my journal. I have already broken its spine; added my own page numbers, chewed a page, set fire to a page, torn a page out and stuck it in again. I'm still not sure how it enhances creativity but my sulky 16-year-old and I had a great half an hour mother and daughter time and that alone makes it precious. Enjoy and don't take too seriously!
This is a funny concept. I'm 'reading' it as a bookring. I've already made a 'vegetable stamping' print with a leek on one of the pages!I should really be sending it on soon...(added later)I got tired of pussyfooting around, and took a big drill to the book. It has a large hole now. I had fun and it's much improved the book.I've sent it on and hope the owner won't be sad!
At first, this book was great to keep my mind off of being sick (I have Fibromyalgia) but I lost interest pretty quickly. I still have hope for this book and plan to complete it by the end of the year.
