Bought a more expensive version of the weather station, same company that had a few more features on it but it did not work.Bought at a diffrent store and returned there. This cheaper version sorks fine and easy to set up. It has the inside and outside temp, humidity level, clock, and date, all that I wanted for half the price.
Bought this as a gift for a little girl who is obsessed with the weather. Didn't see the little girl one until I went into the store (I ordered mine online). Very cute and really does help get the kids to dress appropriately in harsh weather. Make sure to check dimensions, I just assumed it would be larger...little surprised it was so small.
What a great value. I just love this item and so do my friends. I bought two. One I kept and the other was a great hit as a gift. Liked them so much I went back to get another for my brother, but alas, they were sold out. You can find similar weather stations at other sites, but none as good as this at this price. Walmart's price beat them all, even much cheaper styles. I glance down at the one on my desk and see the outside temp as well as inside temp, the trend, (barometric pressure) humidity, time and calendar. What's not to like?
We've found this to be a very good thing to have at the house. Both indoor and outdoor temp readings are very accurate, as well as humidity and barometric pressures....... I have the indoor unit on my desk, and it servers as a handy clock for me when I'm using my desk, while giving me all the weather info I could want. Great value for the price!
Came to Walmart.com looking for a wireless weather station for my family and found this great product! Very simple and easy to use. Great information for my kids . We use it EVERYDAY! I always check it right before I head out in the morning.
We had a weather station that finally 'died'. Ordered this one from the same company, but this one runs on 2 AA batteries for each piece, much nicer than the watch batteries the old one ran on. Great for temperature readings, etc. Love it.
We bought this for my son, who is obsessed with the weather. He loves it, and the "child" icon on it is perfect for his age. It does seem pretty expensive, and I wish it told you the outside humidity and/or wind chill. But other than that, we've found it works great.
I bought two: one for our home and one for my mother in law. They were easy to set up and easy to read. I have now ordered a third to use at our lake house. I don't give perfect scores so this gets 4 stars overall but I did give it a 5 for value since I've looked at lots of similar models that cost at least twice as much.
While the inside and outside temps are pretty accurate, the humidity indicator is not. It is raining here and the indicator says it is sunny and dry. about 46% relative humidity......
My only criticism of this product is the accuracy of the "outside" temperature indicator. It is showing 2 to 4 degrees (Farenheit) higher than the actual temperature at any given time. All other measurements seem to be "right on". I have tried moving the outside sensor to no avail. Don't know if my experience is unusual, but if outside temperature accuracy is important to you I cannot recommend this product.
