Well worth the money, Better than expected.

My Son wanted a very high end head set for Xmas. It was his only item on his list. I read reviews for many sets that were a few hundred dollars and was fully prepared to purchase them until I came across the reviews for this set. I am so glad I decided to buy these. The mic is sensitive enough to pick up his beat boxing sounds and the head phones are almost like surround sound according to my Son when playing his games. Syncing to the Xbox was basically automatic and within five minutes of opening the box he was happily chatting with his friends. I highly recommend this head set. I bought the insurance plan so I am happy too.

Best headset

Has 4 different sound modes to which ever you like nest more bass less bass it changes it all. You will not be disappointed with this head set. Connecting to my system was easy and fast and very long battery life.

It sounds great but has a few issues!

It’s a decent headset but feels cheaper than other headsets in the price range, the wireless is ok sad it doesn’t have a headphone jack. Overall it’s a decent headset and sounds great!

Great features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The headphones sound very clear. I have other Turtle Beach headphones but of course I feel like the newer the better. I like the swivel of the headphones where I can just lay them on my shoulders and not have them on my ears all the time. It’s got a soft cushion on the top that keeps the pressure off your head. It’s adjustable to fit our different head sizes. Also has soft cushion on the ears with a mesh covering. The easy access to the volume for chat rooms and volume for the game playing is good too. Easy to pair just press and hold the pairing button under the charging port for 3 seconds and press the pairing button for 3 seconds on the Xbox on the black part kind of below the power button. The microphone is cool too. Easy to mute yourself by just pushing it half way closed or all the way closed. Both ways will mute it. This is our first wireless headphones it’s a very nice set that I’m glad to have for my family.

Sound volume is bad.

Connected to my Xbox fine but I the volume was terrible. I could barely hear the game. It seemed like it was stuck at 50% volume and I tried everything I could to get the volume to go up. I updated the headphones and followed every suggestion I could find. The super hearing is a joke also. Removes the bass and sounds like you are hearing through a tin can tied to a string. Going back to my regular headphones.

my phone, bought at Durant walmart with straight talk wireless service won't operate away from my house or download anything. I returned the headphones, but didn't get the full amount I was promised. I ordered them from Walmart. com because I didn't want a broken one from the store that had been returned. walmart was too smart for me though. I took it back, but since my phone that I bought from Walmart won't work except on my wifi at home, I didnt get my full refund. I will learn the lesson and buy gaming gear from the people who make them.

Do not buy this for PC use, without also...

TLDR: This headset is actually $130 if you want it for PC, as the Wireless USB isn't included. Do not buy this for PC use in general. What they don't tell you is that while this supposedly can technically used with a PC, it only says in fine print on the bottom of the back of the box that you either need a special Xbox wireless PC, or you also need to buy a separate Xbox Wireless Adapter because the headphones don't come with a wireless dongle! So, that's another $25 to $30, not including shipping, just to use this with a PC and they don't tell you about this beforehand! At first I thought that it was a shipping mistake and they just forgot to include the wireless USB stick, so I sent it back for a return, and it was only on closer inspection of the fine print on the back of the new package they sent me that I realised this.

CRAPPY, DON'T LAST LONG!

I bought these headphones, but the ps4 version. I imagine they are the same thing. I got them little over a month ago. Well taken care of all the time. Not even 2 months into owning them and the sound started cutting out in them and friends not being able to hear me at all through the mic. Sound fully cut out and won't come back. Have tried unpairing and repairing them to the consol and still, nothing. Do not waste your time and buy these, they will crap out on you in a month! waste of money.
