These controllers have been sitting in our warehouse for over 15 years and some are defective so we take each one out of the box and test it to make sure it works perfectly before shipping. We also try to pack and protect it much better than it was originally (We've had problem in the past with them arriving broken) Because of this the Yamaha controller will be wrapped in bubble wrap and packed extra well.
