I have been using this new Yellow Jacket 5-Outlet Power Adapter for around 4 week and I have found some mane uses. I love to do wood works at home as hobby and always have the issue that I needed to have several extension cords in order to be able to work using several of my power tools. With this 5 outlet power adapter I can now connect all my power tools at the same time using just 1 extension cord. The product it's super strong, well made and very easy to use. It is impressive how much time I save now using this small accessory. I have also found other usages like connecting my outdoor projector + the Tv Cast + speakers, now makes it super easy to do. I recommend this product to everybody because it has many usages.
I was in need of an outdoor adapter with at least 4 outlets. This worked well for what I had initially intended. I can plug my table saw, skill saw, sander and any other power tools in to this same adapter, and the other end to my extension cord. It is rugged and designed like a spider, so you can accommodate a variety of plug sizes side-by-side. I like how the power cords lie flat on the ground, the cords don't easily interfere since the all radiate in different directions, none of the actual plugs can interfere with each other since the spacing is large, the device doesn't waste any space on the shelf, and it is super easy to carry due to it's light weight compact design. Great product. Recommended!
I have used many 3 way power outlets on the construction sites and finally have a nice 5 way that allows you to have cords running in different directions w/o yanking on each other and that has been so helpful and assists in not kinking/bending the cables too tight. The clip on the back has been awesome and I can nail on some "plumbers tape" and hook it on it so that if one cord yanks on it it does not yank the other cords and bend the ends or disconnect them. The body is of a tough hard molded plastic that is durable. I am not sure of it's total capacity but we usually only have 2 items running at the same time but it survived 2 saws and a drill w/o issue. You can see in the picture that it was used for Christmas lights for the picture and it ended up staying for that during Christmas on the porch and did just fine also. The "belt" clip for lack of a better description is a blessing for anyone who ever ran a construction site before and tired of the adapter being dragged all over. It is secure. Definitely came in handy this past Christmas. Was able to plug-in all my Christmas lights as well as my outdoor Christmas ornaments and statues. Having it definitely made it such a breeze especially because we didn't have a lot of cords plugged in different extension cords etc. I can't wait To use this summer with our family fun activities that include watching movies outside camping and other things.
My husband used it for outdoor Christmas decorations. Made it very convenient and safe for outdoor use. He did cover it to keep water off of it. He said he wants to now use it in his shop for all the electronics, he has out there. There is a hook on back side, seen in photo attached. Might be able to hang it up. A benefit with this adapter is, It's spaced so that you can fit all 5 electronics in it. Where with regular power strips, I feel you can't use all outlets sometimes because something is too big and covers the other outlets. I Would recommend this product.
This Yellow Jacket Adapter will be very handy during the summer months when we have multiple outdoor projects going. The 5 outlets will allow us to use several power tools or lawn tools to get the job done quickly and w/out having to walk back and forth to plug something in. I am very much looking forward to using this cool and functional Yellow Jacket Adapter.
Last year we did a lot of work in the garden, from repairing winter damage to building a new compost bin, and if there's one thing I learned about all of that it's that plugging and unplugging tools can be a real hassle when you only have one extension cord. Hence the reason I picked up the Yellow Jacket 5-Outlet Yellow Power Adapter for this coming spring. So far I haven't had the chance to use it for tools but I have been using it for a slightly more decorative purpose. Namely Christmas lighting. This little device was the perfect hub for connecting my three light projectors to the nearest outdoor electrical outlet on the opposite end of the house. I did try to keep it at least somewhat out of the weather by placing it off the ground and next the house under the overhang of the eaves. I've been pleased with the way it has performed so far with the Christmas light projectors, they were in use nightly for several weeks, and I look forward to using through the spring and even in the summer for connecting/charging multiple devices while I'm working outside. A couple of the things I like about the Yellow Jacket 5-Outlet Yellow Power Adapter include the built-in hanger for off the ground/floor use, the bright yellow color that makes it easy to spot in pretty much all surroundings, and the shape is convenient plugging in cords that need to go in multiple directions. Overall I'm happy with the product and have had no real complaints at this point. We'll see how it goes with a heavier workout later this year...
Not a great deal can be said about such a basic device. Net/net, it allows you to connect multiple cords to a single source outlet. As can be seen in photo #1, it's not terribly unique in that basic function - there are multiple types of such connectors that are, and have been, on the market for years. What makes this one unique are several features: 1) There is a small LED that glows when power is present - not in the "amazing" category, but useful when you simply want to know if you have power. 2) There are covers over each of the outlets not currently in use. Again, not a show-stopper, but kinda nice to prevent an accidental squirt of water into a live outlet. 3) Perhaps the most useful (and unique to this type of device) is the fact that the individual outlets are spread out in a circle. Why so useful? Check out photo #2... You can actually plug multiple transformers into the unit without the need for mini extension cords or other silly gyrations. The only thing missing is a surge protector which, if present, would rate the 5th star in this review. Bottom line, as the title line says, this is a decent and useful connector - and YES, I would recommend it to others.

To prevent electric shock only use Indoors and in dry locations. All 5 outlets go to open and close locking position for child proofing. The adaptor is good for splitting up to 5 cables however, you can't plug this adaptor directly into an outlet. It would have been better to have a section of cable attached to the adaptor so you could plug it directly into an outlet. As of now you have to run an extension cord to the adaptor then plug each item into the adaptor. Which is ok if all your items are relatively close to each other. The quality is decent but I worry it would shatter if dropped onto concrete. This adaptor is not water proof/water resistant so leaving it outside would be a concern. There are little covers over each of the 5 female plug locations. The covers twist to close the inlets but they don't stay in place. Overall this is ok but not a nice as others on the market.
