I was really skeptical when I bought this lotion. I have acne prone skin that is super sensitive, oily, and dry! Any ways, I have been using this product for almost two months now and it has done wonders for my skin. I haven't had any break outs, dry skin, or severely oily skin. I'm amazed at what this lotion has done for my skin. I only use a mild face wash and this lotion every morning and night. I totally would recommend this to anyone having the same issues as me. I hope this review helps.
Iâm a skin care junkie and Iâve tried every thing from basic moisturizers up to $200 high end brand creams and this is one of my favorite moisturizers! The ingredients list is legit and it truly does balance out your skin. Often times, acne prone skin gets dehydrated even though its producing a lot of oil. This moisturizer uses sunflower seed oil which is similar to human sebum and is easily absorbed by the skin. If you give your skin the right type of moisture then it wonât produce as much oil. Iâve noticed that my skin is much clearer and more even since Iâve been using it. I definitely plan to repurchase!
Two days ago, I was only washing my face with a cleanser (Boots Deep Clean Mousse to be exact). My face was had a lot of whiteheads and red blotches/irritation. However, my face was ok, not great but not horrible. I have very picky skin. Most things don't work for me, so I've gone through MANY products only to find that they break me out even more. However, this moisturizer changed everything. I bought it only two days ago, and now my face is as clear as it was over a year ago. My skin isn't not oily or dry with this, and I did not find it greasy. It cleared away my whiteheads and calmed the redness. Even my close relatives said "Wow, your face has cleared so much!" I did spend some time in the sun, so that might have dried up some of the acne, but I really think that this product is working. I would recommend it to anyone who is desperate to find something that works. I'm sorry for having written such a long review, I rarely ever write reviews.
I usually don't write reviews but my son has battled with acne for years. We've tried everything from Dr prescriptions to in store products and nothing has helped. He started to cleanse his face with Dr Bronner's peppermint bar soap and he'd apply a small amount of yes to tomatoes. He does this once in the morning and once at night and I have to say there has definitely been change. He's happier with this product.
I am in love with this moisturizer. I reach for it way more than I do some of my more expensive high end moisturizers. I have very dry skin and I find that when applying this product my skin stays moisturized and supple for long periods of time whereas with other moisturizers my face is dry again just moments later. I can apply this at night before bed and the next morning my face is still very moisturized and soft. I wish they carried a sunscreen version, but overall I am very satisfied with this product.
Got this for my 20yr old son. He has dry skin but also prone to breakouts. This is great for combination skin. Moisturizes with out making your skin oily or breakout. He always lets me know when he is out to get more.
It's a pretty light moisturizer, which I like. However, it recommends using it in the AM and PM. I stopped using it at night bc I would wake up with new breakouts. I haven't had an issue since I stopped using it at night.
My face is definitely softer and not nearly as dry as usual. My husband also likes the smell, not chemical or overpowering. Very light. It blends pretty well onto the skin, not cakey or thick. The only con is that it make my face very red. I mentioned this to my husband the other day, and couldn't figure out why my face was so red. Put the moisturizer on first thing this morning and he saw me and looked shocked. Apparently I was very red again, but in splotches. I will look into it further, to see if this is an allergic reaction or something else.
I have fairly oily and very acne prone skin, I decided to switch to more natural brands because I thought they would be better for my skin in the long run. This moisturizer is very moisturizing, I'll give it that, but to the point where it's too moisturizing. It makes my face feel very oily and heavy (like I'm wearing a mask). I gave it a try, every morning and night, for two weeks but I can't stand my face feeling tacky and gross when I'm not even wearing makeup. If you have dry, acne-prone skin I think it is worth a shot. (also, it smells really nice)
I will be honest and say that I didn't give this product more than one day to see if it really works. But the first night I tried it, my skin was left feeling dry and it literally made my skin turn red. Luckily, the redness did disappear by morning. Still, dryness and a red face? I don't want to endure that every day. I returned the product.
