We purchased this portable crib as an extra. We already own a different brand and needed one at the in laws for babysitting etc. This crib was not nearly as bulky as the other, so fit in smaller spaces. It was super easy to set up and tear down compared to the other. Had fewer pieces so less to haul around. I also really like how the bottom cushioned board Velcro's to the bottom of the bed so it doesn't slide around. That Is another problem I have the our other bed. Our other bed came with lots of extras. which some of those extras were neat, for ex. the bassinette. But the other stuff. WE NEVER USED! Like a lot of baby products out there it sounds good in the beginning but end up being very unnecessary and a waste of money. This bed also comes with a handy slip cover for when its stored or in commute to help keep the bed clean and tidy. all around We LOVE this portable crib!!!!
Perfect and simple. Was exactly as described and will be perfect for taking here and there for gatherings or cookouts!! Has a sturdy base, all sides are working just fine and the design is adorable! Exactly what I was looking for. It doesn't have anything special with it but who needs all that for a simple pack and play!? Thanks wal mart for a cute and simple and CHEAP design!!
This a perfectly compact pack n play. I use it in my office and am able to store it under my desk. It is also very lightweight and easily portable.
I ordered this to use in our living room for my 9 month old son. It's a good size, easy setup, and the pattern is fun but still unisex.
I bought this for visiting grandbabies' naps. I liked the fact that it was just a BED, as I didn't need all the extra things, like hanging toys. It opens relatively easily (reading the instructions does help), feels secure when up, and then packs away quickly. I had a bed like this when my children were young. Comparing the two, the platform on this Evenflo is not as "flat," with the middle slightly higher than the sides. I worry about baby's comfort, but Mommy put down a thick blanket and baby slept fine. The bumpy bottom gives it only 4 stars. Otherwise, I'm VERY pleased with the product and the price.
Pros: 1) already put together, the only thing you need to do is put the feet on 2) easy to set up and break down 3) lightweight, so easy to transport Cons: 1) no directions a) was slightly confusing to figure out how the feet went on b) frustrating to set up at first b/c the middle needs to stay up while you raise the side rails 2) the mattress seems to be slightly too small for the area of the playpen Overall I think this is a good buy. It is slightly smaller and shorter than I expected, but that hasn't been a problem. It still serves its purpose well.
I had a lot of difficulty figuring out how to make the sides snap and lock to hold upright on this model. I never had to pull the center up to lock the sides in before. It's very testy on this one. Once that was sorted out we have had better luck setting it up. We purchased this for our house when grandbabies are over. It works great for that. It doesn't have a lot of padding so I wouldn't recommend it for constant use, but for occasional it works out perfectly. I didn't need the latest and greatest for the light uses it will have in our home.
So my bad, I didn't look at the height of this pen. Why is it so short? My 10 month old is a short baby at 28" & she can stand up & the top bar is at her shoulder! I like the colors & pattern, it's really cute. I would have gladly paid the extra $10-20 to have it be the standard play pen height
Set up was fairly easy and comparable to other playards. The legs are sturdy and I think the playard is safe, but there is very little support on the bottom. The middle is very hard and the surrounding areas sag. The only way I could put the baby to sleep in this was to add two layers of foam. Would definitely not reccomend it
I was just looking for something for my 9 mo old nephew to sleep in when he stays over, so I wasn't concerned with "bells and whistles". The middle support makes it impossible for the board/mat to lay flat and the whole thing isn't what would strike me as sturdy.
