Good quality vest for the price. The neoprene does not seem to irritate skin like the nylon vests. I purchased a Youth vest for my 50lb daughter & it fits her great.
We really like this life vest, the fit is great and it doesn't ride up above our daughters head like the foam life vests do when she's in the water. However, the first few times she wore it she did experience some irritation around her chest and under her arms. I'm not sure if it was the material or just not used to the tighter fit, but after a few times, it doesn't do that anymore. I would recommend this vest though...much safer for kids with the tighter fit!
It is a good product but it says it is for kids up to 50 lbs. My daughter is 31 lbs and I can't see how it can last until 50 lbs. My daughter is only 50th percentile for weight, so she is not overweight at all. I was hoping at this price to get more than one year out of it.
