I use this powder drink about an hour to two hours before bed and it relaxes me very well. Doesn't make me feel groggy at all. It also helps me sleep and unwind after a crazy work day.

I've been taking magnesium for years and love the benefits of magnesium in itself, but this Youtheory magnesium powder includes two stress reducing and relaxing ingredients L-Theanine, most commonly found in green tea (something I drink all the time as well!) And GABA in the form of PharmaGABA which makes it a very unique magnesium suppliment that bring an added punch of relaxation. I've been taking this every night since I got it and I sleep so good throughout the night. I feel it helps calm my chatty mind before sleep which can keep me awake most nights. I also love that this is a tasty powder that is easy to take unlike the magnesium pills I usually take.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I didn't know Magnesium is the fourth most abundant mineral in our body and it works for stress release and relaxation. This product comes with a simple square shaped white box with white powder inside. I took one-spoon powder mixed with water everyday, in the past 20+ days, I believe it helps me to calm down and relax in a hustle and bustle city life. The taste is better than I thought - berry flavor with little sweetness, so I like drinking it everyday.

I definitely think it helped me relax...I just wish it tasted better! I didn't really like the effervescence either, but at least the powder dissolved well.

It took me a while to get use to the fact of drinking it warm I drink tea and hot beverage but never a warm fizzy drink but after a while it got easy and I drank one cup before bed every night and I would have a great sleep.

These past few weeks have been highly stressful and this definitely helped me remain calm. I've also had anxiety related skew issue and those have gone right for me. I recommend giving this a try. However, the instructions tell you to mix it into warm water, and I found the flavor-temperature combination to be a little odd for me. I thought it was better when I waited and had it cold instead. I did feel like it helped me relax slightly, but it was not a dramatic difference. Overall, it's not bad, but it's not as good as I hoped.
