Aside from the small parts to fit the odd shape of the edges of the phone, it is great! It doesn't scratch, doesn't peel, and covers pretty much every inch of your iPhone. After reading the directions, it seemed difficult to put on, but really was simple. I had plenty of the liquid left and didn't even use it for the edge pieces. Great product, def wish I put it on as soon as I got my phone, but it still protects like a charm! I highlyl recommend it!
We had some trouble making the shield stick around the corners but we held it in place for a coupld of minutes and the places where the shield was sticking out actually got stuck to the phone. Overall easy to apply and great look. The shield is really resilient.
Well worth the price. Excellent protection for the iPhone. Increased tact feel reduces the potential to slip out your hand. Only advice on installation is to take you time, have extra lighting, and a very clean work environment. Rushing left my phone with two areas I had to remove and reattach. Very good product.
This product provides great protection for the iphone from scratches, etc and also adds a lttle grip to the phone without impeding the touchscreen or the overall look and feel of the phone. It does not really provide much protection from dropping the phone in terms of buffering the fall to prevent it from breaking (it just won't scratch). So, if you are concerned about that you might want to get some kind of case as well, but I would still recommend the invisibleshield as the best solution for scratch protecting the screen. The product is difficult to put on, the key to success being patience, following the intructions, and using enough of the liquid spray. Once you get it installed correctly, it works like a charm and will permanently save your iphone from scratches, nicks, or any other similar type of damage that always seems to plague all my phones, mp3 player, etc -- until I found this product. I highly recommend it.
I am happy to endorse the Zagg invisibleShield for the iPhone. I love my iPhone, and I was always worried that I would scratch the case or screen. I found myself dedicating a pocket just for the phone -- no keys, change, or pocketknife in that pocket. I tried a silicone sleeve, but that hid the beauty of the iPhone. Then I saw the invisibleShield. This looked like just what I needed. I ordered one direct to WalMart and picked it up a few days later. I found the installation on the iPhone to be a little tricky. The kit comes with die-cut plastic films on a paper backing, a bottle of special spray, and a rubber squeegee. I followed the instructions, washing my hands carefully and spraying the special spray on my fingertips and the plastic pieces. Still, it was a little hard to get things properly aligned. Also, for the iPhone, there are a number of small bits whose intended location I couldn't readily discern. There were no device-specific instructions included with the kit. However, I did discover that the picture on the cover of the box showed where the pieces went. Apart from alignment, the installation went smoothly, and the small bubbles disappeared after a few days. I had an opportunity to take advantage of the warranty shortly after installing the invisibleSHIELD. I had to send my phone to Apple for service. Zagg kindly sent me a replacement kit after I registered the product. The replacement was easier to install. I also purchased an invisibleSHIELD for my iPhone 3G. The latter product did not have the small bits that the original product did, so it was a little easier to install. All in all, the product is very tough and does the job. It doesn't hide the iPhone, but protects it very well.
Instructions should be more detailed. I got the front on with no trouble but the back was another story ... and it is not a pretty sight with large bubbles on the side that I cannot seem to get rid of. Protection and usability on the front is well worth it but I question the utility of the "full body protection"
This product really helps with slipping, and keeps it from scratching. However, I don't recommend this for the white iphone. When the sides start to come off there tends to be a lot of pocket lint that sticks and it looks gross and dirty. Also, it makes it look a lot less white. (you can see the dark outlines in the picture and the difference of the whiteness in the corner)
I heard great things about this product, found here cheaper than on the manufacturer's website ... did the site to store to save some money on shipping. Got the product and when I got home I realized that it was the BACK ONLY ... even though the website says front and back. VERY VERY VERY FRUSTRATING!
I was excited about protecting my iPhone, this was the second one I purchased. First one, no go. Second one, no go. Waisted about $45-$50 trying to protect a $499 phone.
i bought this product directly from the manufacturer site. i must say that i have tried hard, real hard to make it stick to the iphone. unfortunately, it won't. the reason is it cannot stick to the round corners of the iphone! tried it many times, starting from scratch, still couldn't get it to work. it's a big waste of money IMHO.
