Great eating at a great price! Just add sausage!
this stuff is good wish their was more stuff like it and not like specific to rice or whatever get a box throw some meat at it dinner
This product is very tasty and easy to prepare. I'm from New Orleans and highly recommend Zatarain's products.
We love this, whether we add smoked sausage, shrimp or both. Good quick dinner. 30 minute cook time plus cutting up the sausage/trimming shrimp tails.
This is so much better and flavorful than the Jambalaya mix. Brown your sausage and set aside. Then, add the rice packet, 2.3 cups of water, 2tbps of unsalted butter, dash of cayenne and mix together. Bring to a boil, then cover and set burner to low and simmer for 26-27 minutes. I mixed the rice and beans after 15 minutes have passed and then re-cover. Then final mix during the last 3 minutes of cooking. Add sausage that you browned earlier, mix, take off heat, cover for 5 minutes. You will thank me afterwards.
I just threw this in the instant pot along with the water and butter as recommended on the package, and some bite sized pieces of andouille sausage. Set to rice mode and bam! In 12 minutes, I had a delicious and filling meal for cheap. Seasonings are great and not too overpowering. Can't wait to make this again.
The mix was good. We asked to cancel the order, but they didn't . We were charged $6 to ship it to us. Makes it the most expensive rice we've ever had!!!
This is NOT gluten free! I have celiac, and I ordered this online. I read the box once it was delivered, and it has wheat flour in it. :/
Can this be true?? One 7oz box for $8.99?? Just a couple months ago I was able to get 12 boxes for a bit over a$20. I can't afford to eat at this rate. Please tell me I missed reading the fine print and it is less expensive than I thought.
IS THIS A JOKE…. 3 SMALL BOXES FOR $33 plus ..! AND YOU ONLY SENT 2 of what I wanted… AND SOMETHING I DIDNT WANT… IT WILL BE RETURNED… HOW RIDICULOUS…!!!!!!
