I bought these for research last year and I've been more than pleased with them; I use them daily and have not had to replace them until now. Not only is the ink vivid (all of the colors but especially the purple and pink) but they seem to last forever. For stocking stuffers this year I bought packages of these for my nieces and nephews while they're studying for finals, SATS, and other tests. I've always been disappointed in highlighters because the color always seemed to fade; not these.
