My husband swears by this medicine. He has tried about every kind of heartburn medicine out there and says this is the best. He used to have heartburn multiple times every day, but taking this every day, he very rarely gets heartburn now. I would definitely recommend it.
Works great, especially if you take them as directed. You could even skip a day and they still are effective.
I've been taking this for almost two years it's amazing does the trick. It's better than any prescription you can get. It's worth your money then some. Not recommended for one time use but for daily use.
I changed from taking Prilosec to Zegerid OTC because of sodium bicarbonate being added to the omeprazole in the capsule. This has made a huge difference for me especially at night when I used to experience reflux periodically while I was taking Prilosec. Now the reflux attacks are greatly reduced. I believe the addition of the sodium bicarbonate has made the difference for me.
I have been taking this for awhile now and it's the best heartburn medicine I have ever taken. I recommend it to everyone that has gastric problems looking for over the counter relief. my doctor prescribed this in prescription form but it was very expensive. the over the counter version works just as well. so glad I found this fast acting relief.
This works great. Started using this about 15 years ago when nothing else worked OTC or prescription and have a lot of my family members using it. Am so grateful that this came along
I like this product better than Prilosec. It has baking soda in it, which helps with that gassy bloated feeling. It's also much better at keeping the acid reflux in check without having to use a chewable antacid for break thru heart burn.
I'm 52 and have suffered with reflux my whole life. zegrid is the only OTC that can touch it. I wish it had been around when I was a kid.
I've been using Zegrid for years and will continue to use it. I have chronic heartburn so this medicine is a MUST in my life. Once I feel the heartburn flare up I take one capsule and within 10-15 minutes it causes me to burp. It's a very hot (temperature) burp and that's the last of my heartburn for at least 2 days. This does not need to be taken every day because it's that good!!!
Complete waste of money for me, I can't swallow them.
