I really like this shower rod. It tightens very well so that you can make it very secure when in use. I've owned other shower curtain rods that tighten but then with the slightest tug on the shower curtain, to open it, to close it, etc., the entire thing comes crashing down. This one has very secure rubber 'gaskets' on each end that keep it securely in place. I tugged pretty hard, simulating a toddler yanking on the shower curtain, and it stayed firmly in place. That's a first for me. I've never found a rod that stays put and looks good. It looks very nice, and matches my farmhouse style bathroom very nicely.
The curtain rod is of good quality. The chrome finish should last for years. There are some foam rubber-ish pads on each end which will provide a tight grip on any surface that I can think of. This adjustable rod is a slightly larger diameter than the one it replaced but the existing curtain hooks fit just fine and slide nicely on the chrome finish.
I received the Zenna Home Rustproof Stainless Steel 44 to 72-in. Dual-Mount Ultimate Shower Rod, Brushed Nickel Finish a few weeks ago. Right away my husband twisted it open and put it together which was easy and hung it up in our bathroom. It's very sturdy and it's beautiful! I wasn't sure how it would look since our bathroom has creamy yellow color walls and tub, but it goes good with our moon phases shower curtain and I love it! To me, our rollerball shower hooks slide way easier now too. I recommend it and I received this product from the Spark Reviewer program.
I really like this Zenna shower rod. It is very easy to install. It took me just a few minutes to take off my old rusty shower rod and put the shower curtain and liner on this rod, and install it with no problem. I like that the rod has stainless steel construction which looks very nice, shiny with chrome finish and guarantees against rust for a long time. The rod has 1-inch diameter which was suitable for my existing curtain rings, and I am sure it will work with other standard curtain hooks and shower rings. The rod is very secure in its place, especially if you choose screw mounted installation which permanently holds the rod without any possible movements. In my case, I simply used tool-free tension mounting installation and adjusted the rod for my shower space - about 65 inches, but the rod can be installed in spaces with the range between 44 and 72 inches. Small shower, or bigger shower, this shower rod will work! It is rather steady and can hold even heavy shower curtains and thicker liners. I also like that I can install it on any height from the floor, adjusting the height to the length of my shower curtain and liner, which may be different in length depending on the brand. So far I do not see any disadvantages in this shower rod...I have only positive feedback.
This rod is very sturdy and has a very classy look. I love how sturdy it is- the end are fancy and attractive. it opens and closes up tight and stays where you place it. I love the Nickel coloring, it has a classy look. It is an inch thick around which I think gives it extra support. The ends both spin off- which made it easier to load the curtain hooks on and off. I love the over sized ends. They have several rings on each end that are just for looks; but they add an extra fancy look to the ends. I think you could almost use this rod as a curtain rod it is so fancy. I highly recommend this rod; I would buy it and use it and I would buy it and gift it for someone moving into a new house as a house warming gift. We really love the rod!!
This is a very attractive curtain rod. Super easy to install as a tension rod, but it gives you the option of a permanent install also. I'm getting all of my shower fixtures replaced next week and this matches perfectly. Bonus that it's rustproof !
This is a very nice stainless steel shower rod that is brushed nickel and not suppose to rust. I had one almost identical to it that I just replaced and it lasted around 11 years before it started showing signs of rust in small spots here and there. I like the brushed nickel because it is easy to match with other towel racks and such. This is adjustable for a small shower or bath/shower. Also it can be used as a simple twist and expand where you need it on the wall or you can use the hardware included and screw it into the wall. Can't ask for much more than that. Love it and it was time for a replacement.
Curtain rod is nice. I like that you have the option to either use screws or twist/tension. I thought the finish was gonna be more bronze but it's not. It's truly an aged iron finish but you really can't see the detail unless you're looking up close.
This is a beautiful rod which claims a lifetime rust free life. That will remain to be seen. Although it's supposed to be a tension rod with the option to be mounted to the walls instead, the tension on mine is not functioning as if there is no spring inside the rod to even create the tension. I'm not sure if mine is defective or if this tension rod is not a tension rod at all. My old tension rod worked like a charm. I expect the rod to fall off at any moment since I twist-screw it somehow (Unable to a few things on my walls). Otherwise it's a beautiful rod, I just hope yours works like it's supposed to....
The Zenna Home Rustproof Stainless Steel Shower Rod looks very pretty and high quality. I opened the box and the ends were not put together and had to be assembled. The box shows that it doesn't require any tools for the tension mount but it was very difficult to get the ends on the rod. The ends should have already been assembled and in the instructions it doesn't even show how to assemble the ends for tension rod use. It can be mounted but it requires a drill, tape measure, screw driver, hammer and level so make sure these tools are available to use. The chrome finish loooks nice and the rod has a good weight to it and the box shows it can hold up to 30 lbs. It's also stainless steel so it's rust proof which is needed in a shower rod since it's in a wet bathroom. It is also guaranteed for life and has a warranty. I don't recommend based on how difficult it was to get the ends on the rod and mounting it requires many tools.
