Great stretchy, form fitting heel sock that moisturizes and protects dry heels. Works great at night alone or with an extra moisturizer. Sleeping with these also keeps the heels from snagging on the bed sheets or blankets. They work well and even look nice while wearing. Consistency is the key as with most things. The difference with these is that you will look forward to wearing them so will be less likely to forget putting them on. Improvement can be seen in a short amount of time.
It may just be an age thing, but it seems like heels dry out and get scale-y first in the winter when the indoor air is so dry, and then over time they stay that way year ‘round. If you are like me these hard, scaled, cracked heels snap socks, carpets and blankets and make it really difficult to put on nylons. Emory boards and other sanding-type products really do not solve the problem. Then along comes ZenToes Moisturizing heel socks. What a great idea. With the gel lining they are comfortable to wear for long periods of time. And that gel lining allows you to coat the heel with lotions, creams and oils without having it soak through onto other surfaces the way it does with socks, etc. Getting two pair in the pack is great because after a few nights of slathering creams and oils on your feet, you’ll be able to keep up the routine while one pair is in the wash. I have been using castor oil and the ZenToes socks just about every other night for two weeks. And am very happy to report that my heels are almost completely free of dry, scaled, cracked calloused skin! What a great feeling to be able to walk around barefoot with snagging the carpet, or my socks, or nylons. So glad I tried these. You will be too.
I received the ZenToes Moisturizing Heel, Gel Lined Toeless Spa Socks as a Spark Reviewer. I received a 2-pack that had pink and blue pairs. The main part of the sock is made of cotton. I am not sure it is 100% cotton, but, it is soft and feels great. On the inside, covering the entire heel, is a gel pad that is connected to the cotton part, (see picture), which is soft and cushiony. Having opened toes make them versatile so you can wear them with any shoe- even flip flops. Or, you can wear no shoes at all. They are very comfortable and provide some cushion on your feet. What's really great is they can help soften dried heels while being worn. I used them at night for 3 nights in a row. I applied my lotion, (instructions say you can apply lotion), then I put on the socks. Every morning, I awoke with softer feet and heels. By the third morning, my heels were like new; without any cracked skin. These socks need to be hand washed and hung to dry. I recommend ZenToes Moisturizing Heel, Gel Lined Toeless Spa Socks to anyone who needs help with dried, cracked heels. They work.
I have had socks like this before that are supposed to help soften cracked heels and callouses. They often don’t fit well or fall off. These pairs have a great fit. When you turn them inside out you can see the area with the gel like substance. You can add your own lotion too. These are easy to take care of. I haven’t had them long enough to see a significant change but it does help. They are very comfortable too

I have never seen this type of footwear before, especially something that is good for dry cracked heels, like I have. So, I tried them out on the night of the first day before going to bed. I wanted to see how well they did without filing the roughness off beforehand. I just rubbed some lotion on my heels, then put the heel socks on my feet and went to bed. They were very comfortable to wear also. Next morning I took a peek at my heels and was astounded by how well they worked! My heels were smooth and soft!!! I was totally amazed!! So, YES, they DO work!
These ZenToes heel socks have a wonderful feel to them. They are soft and the gel lining that goes on the heel has a cooling feel to it. The colors are very pretty in pink and white and blue and white. Along with the gel lining having cooling, healing properties for the heel of the foot, you can also add your favorite lotion under the sock.
These socks have a marking for your ankle, and they are longer than any other heel care, socks that I've used.
These socks work wonders for my feet. I wear sandals a lot during the summer so my heels tend to get very dry. I have tried various lotions and concoctions in attempt to moisturize but none have worked as well as these zen socks. I actually applied lotion first and my heels were very smooth the following morning. I normally can’t tolerate sleeping with anything on my feet but these socks are actually comfortable.

I did have a problem getting them on ,I do have bigger feet.. so they felt tight on me. How ever after wearing the ZenToes Moisturizing Heel Socks 2 Pairs Gel Lined Toeless Spa Socks to Heal,they really did make my heels soft.
I have been wearing flip flops and slip on shoes a lot lately. My heals have been getting dry and rough, but not cracking, I wanted to try these to see if my heels would soften.. THEY DID. I am a firm believer of using lotion and socks in bed for this particular issue. These worked great on that point. My problem with these socks are their durability. They started out nice and soft. I washed them by hand in shampoo (no reason for this other than I love the scent of the shampoo). They dried and felt a bit stiffer, so I rinsed them twice more, thinking I did not get all the soap out Same result however. After wearing them a second time, the gel pads had nicks and wear. This was definitely from my rough heals. I am not rough on socks. I change socks 2-3 times a day because I hate sweaty socks. I found no odor from wear and they seem not stretch out of shape.
