I love these bags. The slider ensures I get the bag closed properly. The freezer option is great for batch cooking. The white space is easy to write on.
Nice heavy duty freezer bags with slider closure.
These work great. Their nice and heavy weight plastic bags great for freezing foods of all kinds and also work well for storing about anything you can think of . Once in awhile the zipper comes off but not very often like allot of the other brands do. I would recommend these for anyone.
Bought these for travel. The good and the bad is that they have a pleated bottom, so bottles stand up in them, but the height is smaller than previously, so if you have something flat to protect, it no longer fits.
I'm not going to lie, I'm the person who's been trying to make my Ziploc bags stand up as I fill them. But these make it SO much easier! It's still the trustworthy locking seal and durable bag so I love it! “I received this product for free in return for my unbiased review.”
I've always been a Ziploc freezer bag user. I split up meat that I get in bulk into quart freezer bags so I only take one bag out when I'm cooking. I also put leftovers in the freezer bags to keep in the freezer. I always get Ziploc bags as the quality is definitely better that generic. This to me is an upgraded version of an already great product. The slider makes opening and closing a breeze. The expanded bottom makes it easier to fill. We use these a lot for leftovers, marinades, and - well - freezing just about anything. I always make sure to buy the freezer bags because they're slightly thicker than the standard ones, which is good for preventing leaks, holes in just about any situation. For us, though, the main draw of the thicker freezer bags is the fact that they can be reused more than the thinner ones. We wash our Ziploc bags and reuse until they tear or get something on them (e.g., stinky cheese) that leaves a smell/residue. The slider top on these also makes it easier to turn inside-out for washing without tearing. Buy sturdier bags like this one, and consider reusing! Ziploc Slider bags did not keep vegetables as fresh as regular Ziploc bags. Good for nonfood storage though.
Not made like they use to be! The slider breakers way to often leaving you with a useless bag. Think I may switch brands
We freeze beans and also tomato/bell pepper/onion salsa from our garden. We use Ziplock storage bags and wanted to try the gallon-size stand up slide freezer bags for our garden vegetables. The bags were OK, but not great. The bags were easier to fill but the small, clear slider that closes the bag came off on several of the bags of beans. We were able to put a few sliders back on, but I will check on them in the freezer to make sure the bag doesn't open. I think I will go back to the other choice of Ziplock freezer bags.
