I use these for storing many things in my freezer...soup, chili, spaghetti sauce, etc. They are the perfect size for a serving for 2 (at least). I have been using these for many years and find them perfect for liquids and solids. However, I do have to say I do place them in an upright position, so can't dispute other reviews that say they leak when carried in a backpack, etc., but for freezer and refrigerator storage, they are "just the ticket"! I also love them, because they are reusable and reasonably priced.
I have bought both sizes (medium & small) of twist 'n loc for years and I love them. They are sturdy and last. I use them for leftovers like veggies & mashed potatoes, I freeze my homemade soups and gravy (Red sauce) in them all the time. They hold up to dishwasher as well although I usually wash them myself. My family however throws everything in dishwasher... My only issue is that the medium size has been MIA from my grocery stores lately and I can only find the small. They are great but the medium size is my go to for freezing. I will keep looking, I adore these containers
Perfect size. Hold approximately 4 cups each. Leak proof screw on lids. Allows for storage of liquids, soups, stews, etc and provides space saving storage in refrigerator and freezer. Could only find at Walmart.
These containers make the best salad shaker! I put the dressing in the bottom of the container, then at lunch give a good shake and enjoy. The twist on lids help prevent spills. Not like the snap-on lids that sometime leak in my lunch box if it is turned over. I have bought a dozen of this brand and style containers. In my opinion a good value. They microwave well. Although I have found that if there is tomato pasta sauce in the container it tends to stain and have some white-burn-like spots afterwards at times.
Perfect for storing food! Good size and doesn't take up a lot of room. Very easy to use the twist off lid.
I love these things. They are great for containing soups and such. The screw on top is much safer than the snap on kind. I have these in both sizes. They are so convenient. I just wish that our local Walmart kept them in stock. Luckily it doesn't take long to order them online.
Looking at these other reviews I noticed the reason I LOVE the container and others don't. I use the container to reliably transport "mushy foods" to work and school. The twist top locks into place so being jostled about it doesn't risk being knocked off by something else in my duffle or leaking, in any position. I am NOT putting pure liquids into the container, it's not a water bottle, its a container, for food.
These containers are good for storing most anything in a sealed environment. We use them to hold liquids (soup, for example), and dry items such as pasta, coffee, and even non-food items like screws and small hardware pieces. We have some older ones that are still serving. The caps are interchangeable between the various sizes. I'd certainly recommend them to a friend.
I never received my order that was supposedly delivered. Having issues with Walmart about issue and reimbursement.
DID NOT RECEIVED from ProSeller. I called WalMart immediately and was told to wait for a reply ....not received. :(
