Let the good times roll: It's Linus' birthday! He slides, glides, spins, leaps and grinds. It's fast-rolling fun when Linus straps on his in-line skates and sets out through the neighborhood. It's fun too, when the "Peanuts" kids get together for their blanket-toting pal's birthday party. There are gifts to buy for the big event. (If there's a world record for filling shopping carts, Snoopy sets a new one!) Party invitations must be sent and answered. (Sally tries to C-O-P-E with something called R.S.V.P.!) Linus wants all his friends to come to his party. Most of all, the birthday boy wants a very special guest to be there. He invites Mimi, a sweet-singing girl he meets while skating in the neighborhood. Will she show up? One thing's for sure: it's going to be a great party!.

You're part of history Charlie Brown! Birds can fly and certainly a fly can fly, but a human being? People can't fly . . . Yes, they can, Charlie Brown. You'll see it happen when the Wright Brothers send their primitive airplane aloft at Kitty Hawk, North Carolina, in 1903. Of course, good ol' Charlie Brown isn't the only member of the Peanuts neighborhood who becomes an eyewitness to history. Woodstock demonstrates the principles of flight, Peppermint Patty and Marcie are mechanics for the Wright Brothers aircraft, and Snoopy becomes top dog and oversees the events leading to the flight that changed the world!.

For children of all ages. Collect all 8 volumes! You're part of history, Charlie Brown! Get a Peanuts view of history when Charlie Brown tells the story of America's first transcontinental railroad! Of course, no one can tell the tale like Charlie Brown, but here's some background information. The task of building the iron horse's route falls on two companies. The Union Pacific Railroad works westward across the plains. The Central Pacific moves eastward across imposing mountains. The work proceeds at a feverish pace, exacting a huge economic and human toll - but in 1869, the two lines meet. Now America truly does stretch from sea to shining sea! All that remains is to drive the golden spike that marks the railway's completion. Are you ready, Snoopy?.

For children of all ages. Collect all 8 volumes! Strike up the band! Charlie Brown plays harmonica, Pig Pen slaps bass, Snoopy fiddles and Linus strums the guitar in a lively, informative look at American music through the years... and at people who helped shape those times. As the story gets underway, Schroeder is ready to give a report on American music. Lucy has another idea: why not combine his report with her talk about heroes? The teacher agrees, and soon it's clear the new report isn't just bigger - it's better! The topics include composers Stephen Foster and John Philip Sousa, famous women n history, the rise of the blues, jazz and ragtime, plus much more. What a great way to give a report! What great fun, too!.

For children of all ages. Collect all 8 volumes! What is the Constitution? You could say it's a kind of instruction manual for the United States. It tells how our government works. It's a very important document - so important that the Peanuts pals are eager to help in its creation! The story takes place in 1787 in Philadelphia. The Founding Fathers are trying to compose the Constitution. They work hard to decide which ideas to include. Charlie Brown and his friends work hard, too! Snoopy serves as watchdog. Peppermint Patty provides water to drink. Charlie Brown oversees "valet parking," and Linus is the usher. History is being made!.

"A Charlie Brown Christmas" is at first pensive with scenes of snowfall. Christmas is not making Charlie Brown happy, in fact to me he seems a little depressed. Snoopy of course meanwhile steals the show by decorating his dog house. Some of the kids say really mean things to Charlie Brown which doesn't help his mood. The whole story line leads up to the moment where everyone finds out the real meaning of Christmas. Probably this is the highest rated Christmas special because everyone is really like Charlie Brown who is seeking deeper meaning in life. Movie Genre: Christmas Format: VHS Tape

"Charlie Brown's All Stars" Charlie Brown must be the unluckiest pitcher in the world. He always pitches on the day the opposing team scores about a hundred runs! No matter how much that round-headed kid loves baseball, he values some things even more. When he discovers that the league won't let girls and dogs play in its games, Charlie Brown takes a stand. No matter how clumsily you play on the field, Charlie Brown, you're an all-star in life! Nominated for an Emmy. Award. "It's Spring Training, Charlie Brown" It's spring, and in the Peanuts neighborhood, that can only mean one thing: another losing baseball season. This year may be different! The team with the always-crabby right fielder and the shortstop who uses his food dish as a glove might turn things around if it had a real, honest-to-goodness uniforms. A local businessman has promised to provide them... if the team wins its first game. Play ball!.

He's Your Dog, Charlie Brown When Snoopy misbehaves, Charlie Brown decides it's time for him to return to Obedience School. The clever beagle has other ideas... He holes up at Peppermint Patty's house, living a luxurious top-dog life. Then Patty decides enough is enough. Snoopy must earn his keep. However, all work and no play is definitely not this beagle's lifestyle! It's Flashbeagle, Charlie Brown Some dogs fetch, bring in the newspaper and follow their pals to school. Not Snoopy. He snoozes. He's Flashbeagle, who struts and twirls in the dance hall by night and catches up on his sleep by day. Charlie Brown wants to change Snoopy's ways, but Sally thinks otherwise. The dancing dog she brings to class earns her an "A" in Show and Tell.
