A revolutionary Guidance series, Real Life Teens offers unprecedented access into the hidden teen world that's insightful, fascinating and provocative. Told from the perspective of teens, with input from teachers and school personnel, our young subjects confront the trauma and drama of coping and surviving in today's often confusing world. Teenage drug use has reached epidemic proportions in some high school institutions. Most teens have a tendency to feel indestructible and immune to the problems that others experience. Some teens will experiment with alcohol, drugs, prescription medications and may continue to use and develop a dependency. When a teen chooses to go school under the influence of drugs or alcohol it can have serious consequences. These include an impact on their scholastic rating, impairing their academic performance, failure to complete assignments and generally lead to a neglect of their scholastic responsibilities. Staying straight is not only a good decision, but is necessary to succeed at school. Marijuana - one of the most misused drugs today - is also one of the most popular and readily available of all controlled substances found on high school campuses. Missing classes, falling behind, getting lower grades and ultimately losing funding for a students higher education is but a single representation of how drugs and/or alcohol can detrimentally impact a student's academic future. Subjects Covered Include: Alcohol Abuse, Children of Alcoholics (COA's), Prescription drug abuse, Marijuana, Impaired Academic Performance, Staying Straight.

This collection includes all 16 episodes from the eighth and final season of the crime comedy series Monk. The season kicks off with a dose of nostalgia, as the titular obsessive-compulsive detective is forced to investigate a star from his favorite childhood sitcom after an attempt is made on her life.

5. Real Life Teens: Guns at School

Gun violence is a growing problem among teens in America. One of the most frightening trends over the last several years has been the rise of gun-related violence at school. A number of reasons have been cited for the emergence of this disturbing phenomenon. Some of these include the widespread availability of guns, escalating levels of violence in video games and media violence and rising levels of teen alienation and rage. This program discusses the causes of violence in schools, gun control and ultimately asks the question "do students feel safe at school?" Teens discuss the following subjects and give their thoughts on - How safe they feel at school? How easy is it for a student to bring a gun into school? How do they feel about guns at school? Have they ever been exposed to guns? What should a student do if they know someone is planning on carrying a gun or weapon into school? Are they influenced by media violence? Should teachers be armed? An ideal thought provocaing program, that provides an unbiased and realistic look from the perspective of teens, at the issue of gun violence. Featuring young teenagers telling their real stories, in their own words. It offers unprecedented access into the hidden teen world that's insightful, fascinating and provocative. Told from the perspective of teens, this program confronts the trauma and drama of coping and surviving in today's often confusing world.

Nicknamed "The Barefoot Sensei" due to his aversion of footwear, former Marine Mick Dodge, experiences life on his own terms. For Mick, surviving off the land in the Hoh Rain Forest in western Washington State is the only way to live. This release contains every episode of season 2.

Notorious schlock and psychotronic production company Troma (known for such classics as Toxic Avenger and Class of Nuke 'Em High) hails Tromeo and Juliet, its contemporary adaptation of Shakespeare's love tragedy, a "thrill-a-minute, body-piercing, computer sex, sapphic, car-crashing extravaganza." Set in New York City, the tale centers on the Ques and the Capulets. The bitter feud begins when father Capulet steals father Que's Silky Films production company. As enemies, the two warring clans are always doing horrible things to each other. Tromeo Que is a computer nerd who spends much time fondling himself in front of his favorite sexy CD-ROMs until he falls in love with lovely Juliet and proposes to her while she sits upon a toilet. The film, seemingly aimed at adolescent boys, features violence, considerable gore, profanity, vulgar situations (featuring buckets of fake vomit), and the graphic depiction of body piercing. (Of course, if it didn't, it wouldn't be a Troma film.)
