Mainstays Barrett II Bed in a Bag, Black Soot/Dark Charcoal

You could tell by the design that it was supposed to be the same bedding, but the comforter looks nothing like the pictures. It looks blue and white/silver on the picture, but when I got it, it was more brown than anything else. It was really very ugly, and my husband and I agreed that it had to go back! I didn't see anything wrong with it, but we didn't even pull it out. I'm sure it would have been just fine as a comforter, just not our taste.

My husband and I bought this bedding almost a year ago to go with our new queen sized bed. We didn't go by the example picture. We bought it in the store and granted, the colors are different from the picture, but I still love it! I just wanted a dark colored bedding set that my husband and I both would like. Walmart should think of getting a new pic. The sheets fit very well on our bed and are soft. The comforter is nice and warm and held up very well in our washer, which isn't a super capacity washer by the way. It would be nice if they sold matching drapes.

The colors are way way off from the photo shown! Its almost a dark green color, not what I was looking for. The material is very stiff and itchy even after being washed and has a strong smell almost like a permanent marker smell which wont go away. This is probably why this product is so cheap, I guess you get what you pay for.

First off, the color is NOT navy or black. It is a deep blue-green (forest) with tan accents. It is a nice gender neutral set that has worn well over the past two years, sheets included. The sheets are deep pocketed and fit our queen mattress very well. It is a little heavy for my husband, but I have found it to be very comfortable. If you are wanting a very pillowed texture this one will not have the bulk you want. It lays a bit flatter. All in all, no complaints.

We bought this set in one of the Orlando area Walmarts today and brought it home to replace a set we had bought a couple of years ago. We love the Mainstays line, so we thought this would be a good product. The product is great, but it looks nothing like the picture. The "blue" section is not as bright as the photo makes it out to be-its more of a cobalt blue than a nice royal blue like the in the photo. It is still very nice, comfortable, and fits perfectly on our king bed. It is a nice set and I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a new bedding set-however, I would have to make sure that they knew it was not exactly as pictured.
