Philips Avent Double Electric Breast Pump with Bonus 20 Night Breast Pads

I’ve used several different electric pumps, which is expensive! But, I knew that I needed to find the easiest and most comfortable to use multiple times during the work day. The Avent is, by far, the best option. It’s comfortable, quieter (not silent), and effective. It’s also convenient- the motor is smaller than most, and you can pump right into Avent bottles, which we also use. The breast pieces themselves with the soft, silicone, comfort petal design are the most comfortable of any I’ve used. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

This pump works AMAZING! I would definitely recommend it for moms looking for a good pump. I have identical twin boys so I need to be able to pump alot of milk which I do with this pump. Most definitely worth the money! You won't be disappointed! :)

As a working mom, pumping is crucial to ensure my supply stays normal and my baby gets the milk she needs. With that said, I am very particular about pumps! Some things I really enjoyed about the Philips Avent Double Electric was the silicone comfort pads on the flanges. They made pumping noticeably more comfortable then normal flanges. I liked that the pump has illuminated buttons and is quiet, which makes pumping in the night easier. I loved that the Avent bottles we use attach right to the pump! Some things that I did not like about this pump was that the suction was not quite as strong as my other pumps. This would mean it takes longer to express the normal amount of milk. If I was in a rush I tend to grab my other pump over this one, because it takes longer. Overall this pump is a good and effective pump for a great price! I will have to give this 5 stars because it is a great pump! After using this pump daily at work for 5 weeks I'm confident that it is a great pump. Most important to me was that it is a closed pump system and that this pump fully empties my breasts because it has good suction. The flanges are extremely comfortable with the silicone shielding. The extra pieces are a little more difficult to clean because there are quite a few of them and some nook and crannies, but thankfully the dishwasher seemed to take care of all those very well. I love that it comes with a bag which is easy to tote to and from work and that it is so compact. It was so great that this kit came with bottles because it made it easy to pump right into those as they fit on the pump and feed to baby right away if needed. Great pump! Once you get used to the setting up it is easy. I have used other brands in the past this one seems to be the most comfortable. I am a working mom so fast efficient pumping is a must. I pump at home in mornings and this pump is good gets the same output as my other pumps have just took 10 mins longer. There is no battery pack so your not as mobile if you need to be. But really when your pumping I feel you should be relaxing to get the most efficient let down. The pump parts were easy to clean. I love the design too.
