[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] t's super compact and easy to use, and it allows me to connect my Mini DisplayPort-enabled laptop to my TV or monitor with an HDMI port. And the fact that it supports 4k resolution is definitely a plus.The adapter itself is well-built and feels sturdy in my hand, which is always a good sign. And the connection between the adapter and my laptop is solid - I haven't experienced any issues with it disconnecting or anything like that.

I used to have a conversion cable, but then it stopped working. This is foolproof, cause everyone has access to an HDMI port/cable.

I use it to connect my Surface Pro to my 43" monitor and it is great. My monitor is able to switch between devices and this adapter allows me to connect my Surface Pro and since I have multiple surfaces, I can use my Desktop Keyboard and mouse on my surface pro. This adapter is built well and was the missing piece of the puzzle.
