Braun - Silk-épil 9 Epilator - White/Gold

My daughter got me this one for Christmas and to replace the old one which I had for years and it was so good until stopped working, it was silk epil 5 , however I don't like it at all and it doesn't pull off the hair completely, I am very upset for having it as a gift.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For starters, it hurts. It takes a few minutes to get past the initial shock. But its not as bad the farther you go for your legs at least. I did have to change directions a few times. I used the gentle speed until I can get more uses in. If you can handle waxing you should have no problem with this. It's gentler on the skin. On my face it didn't hurt much because I am used to it. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a different form of hair removal. I had no skin reaction and almost no redness.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this epilator for my arms and legs but I found it to be too painful on longer/ hair areas. I think a numbing cream would be great to add for those people like me who have coarse hair. I would love to use in my underarms and bikini area.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The epilator is different. Definitely not like something I have tried before. I do prefer a regular electric razor which is why I was happy it came with another head. The epilator head worked great for my chin hairs, but it took some getting used to. When I first used it on my legs dry I did not care for it. I could not get pass the plucking. It was much better in the shower but a razor does a better job because there is less passing. Some of the benefits of owning this product is that your hair doesn't grow as fast. I saved under my arm using the shaver attachment, and used the epilator head to clean it up. It was painful in the beginning but I got used to it. But I will say the hair is taking longer to grow back. The beauty is pain lol. I would recommend this product only because there's another shaver head. Even though the epilator is painful in the beginning hair does take longer to grow back. This product is not for the sensitive.

I love the light, it helps with seeing the hairs and finding where you missed. It comes with trimmer heads and a shaver head so it's great for traveling with. I also like that it comes with a little bag to keep everything together. It works a lot better than other epilators that I have tried. I wasn't aware of this product before trying it out.
