Canon - PIXMA TR4720 Wireless All-In-One Inkjet Printer - Black

I have had nothing but trouble with this printer since I bought it. It constantly disconnects from my wifi causing me to reinstall and re-enter password. The keypad for that is ridiculous - not very user friendly. Whenever I have to install a new ink cartridge, it gives me error messages, and this time when trying to change my color ink cartridge, it is giving me the error message but this time I can't get around it. I paid a pretty penny for the ink. I can't just throw it away because it's not working with my printer. (It is the correct ink, the correct number, and it is a cannon product.) I am ready to toss this printer and buy a different brand.

I bought this printer a couple of months ago and wanted a base model that could print a few documents per week, mostly in black and white. Every time I try to print, I have issues getting the printer to download the document and even once it does and the printer queue indicates it is printing, nothing is happening. I typically have to cancel printing mutliple times before I actually get what I need.

The scans are very low quality for photos. Printing is fine for documents.

Even something as simple as printing ONE PAGE OF PAPER can be too complex for this printer at times. It says "please wait momentarily" endlessly even though it's connected to strong wifi, has full ink, and is only being asked to print one page. This printer has a mind of its own and often decides not to work. Honestly, it's a waste of money in our experience- what's the point of a PRINTER that won't PRINT?!?!
