[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My boys are having an absolute blast with this globe! Even without the light, they have been asking about so many countries! It spins well and the lights are so fun! The constellations all light up and it turns off automatically!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this so I could introduce it to my pre-k class. It is super neat, and got my students more interested in the globe and space. However, it's advertised that it would glow and be a representation of what astronauts see in space in regards to city lights, etc. but from what I can see that is not the case. All you see are constellations and stuff like that, which is still great and interesting, but not necessarily what I was expecting to see. Also, the fact that it has to be super dark in the room should be more visible. I thought that I could just plug it in, and turn it on, and we'd be able to see the lights. My classroom is almost never dark, so I had to put it in the bathroom for the kids to see the lights.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really love world globes and intended to buy one to teach my daughter, so I was super excited about this one. It's pretty cool. During the day, it functions as a normal globe showing all of the countries and their capitals in the world. At night, it senses darkness and lights up, and we can see the constellations. At the first time, I actually thought the globe was broken because it didn't light up. I read the instructions and found out it just lighted up in darkness. It comes with an AC adapter or you can take 4 batteries to use its light function. My daughter really loves it.

It can work with power or batteries, which is always pretty nice with kids to have that option. He's loved looking through it and finding new countries.
