Lithium Ion Notebook Battery

After reading the reviews of folks with my same 17 inch screen which we knows uses most of the power I am happy 4 years later. I may be on my 2nd battery however my old eyes balls need big font & screen. Here is my process.....I watch my level & if i see the battery is at 25% or lower I plug it in till fully charged then unplug. I never leave it plugged in 24/7. This 2nd battery in 4 yrs will give me 1.5-2 hrs on average & that is very good for web/internet browser. I can live with that & hope I never have to pay the $139 insane price for another. Folks who leave the charger pluged in 24.7 are asking for trouble. Ur on the computer way, way too long, unplug & let it run down to 10% & I think you will get better results when U are on the plane or really need it. Beside U will forget how to comunicate with real people if you spend 24.7 on a computer, Live a little. Peace.

It appears that this battery will perform better since it is an HP product in my HP laptop.

So far it is still working. 2 weeks old

this thing does not charge anymore. it barely gets above 35% charged and it lasts about two minutes without the adapter, its barely been a year...

i have the HP dv9000 the battery is come with the computer but just only a year it say the battery condition is weak so it make me buy a new one =(
