Quick heat and variable vibration options make it a solid recovery tool, and the fact that it's cordless makes it much easier to incorporate in your day.
I've had the Hyperice Venom 2 for over a year now. It works very well and lasts around 110 minutes on the highest heat and constant vibration settings. I rarely use anything other than the constant vibration, the on/off settings don't do much for me. I appreciate how quickly this item heats up, it is much faster than a traditional back pad. The one gripe I have with it is that this is very fit to use on the lower back, I have had upper back pain in the past and this does not cover that area easily. Overall I'm satisfied with this purchase and I'm glad to have it in my arsenal of Hyperice items.

The venom has been an amazing piece in my warm up and recovery quiver. I purchased originally to assist with a lower back injury that was lingering and now I am using it multiple times a day. I wake up an put in on while having coffee before heading out for my workout. I put it on after my workout to assist with recovery and now I am putting it on in the evening to keep me warm on the couch with a hot cup of team before retiring for the evening. Now I don't have to turn the heat up to warm up. I told my husband - I was going to purchase a heating pad for sitting around the house but the venom is a way better investment!
I love the freedom to move around while wearing the heating pad, but the battery only lasts for 3-4 10 min heating sessions. The heating pad is HOT - almost too hot even on the second or third heating level. The vibration is okay, but I'm not sure it's therapeutic.
