MSA FP5K Shock Absorbing Lanyard - Single Leg

MSA's Shock Absorbing Lanyard uses the FP5K Carabiner, which is a Tie-back connector with a 1-inch gate opening and 5000-pound gate strength in all directions. This adjustable web, single-leg lanyard has a Sure-Stop shock-absorber to keep fall arrest forces to a minimum. Made extra strong with increased abrasion resistance and a minimum breaking strength of 12,000 lbs., this lanyard is built to provide the ultimate protection. Features: 6 ft. long, adjustable length. 5000 lb. gate strength in any direction allows the 5P5K carabiner to be tied back directly to the lanyard. Unique carabiner body shape helps avoid confusion with standard connectors not designed for tie-back applications. FP5K carabiner design allows for maximum clearance inside the body of the carabiner (1" gate opening) Utilizes Monster-Edge webbing with 12,000 lb. minimum breaking strength. Internal wear indicator consists of two yellow threads that when visible, alert a user as to when the lanyard should be removed from service due to severe abrasion. Keeps fall arrest forces below 900 lbf. Meets OSHA regulations, ANSI A10.14, ANSI Z359.1 and is CSA certified.
