occasionally can not connect with the app.
Works great!
I use an iphone 11 pro max. I have to go into the settings > Bluetooth on the iphone, then activate the Bluetooth button on the "Complete" - then click on the iphone (Omron 7900 - in Bluetooth setup) - and wait until it shows "Connected' before I open the Omron app. If I do not do this, the readings do not transfer. I am on IOS 16.1.1. Also, the iphone microphone must be "allowed" before the EKG will work. This is not explained in the setup instructions. The "Allow Omron to use microphone" message popped up randomly.i
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this around Christmas, worked as expected 2 times, then a communication (blue tooth) problem arose, & no EKG, just blood pressure. Called support & communication problem resolved, EKG was still a problem, called support & EKG resolved! Long story short, A simple step by step instruction pictures for each step of blood pressure & EKG. Would have been more useful then explanation of (refer to section 3,4,5) of users guide. This is a great investment & I recommend this tool for tracking heart irregularities!!
it was only battery operated, did not show if blood pressure was high, had to connect to a doctor for ekg and a-fib readings. my omron blood pressure monitor is great, it shows a orange light for B.P. to high, and can plug in to wall socket. did not know these things from advertisments?
