My 9 lb dog hates this car seat, but my 4lb puppy LOVES it. The seat looks a little bigger in the photo than it does in person, but overall is a pretty nice seat. It seems sturdy, fits my minivan seats well, and collapses flat for easy under seat storage. There is a zippered pocket on the front that I guess you could put treats in, I don't. I use it for a leash for potty breaks because if I put a "cookie" in there, my dogs would chew through the seat to get it out! Both of my dogs are miniature dachshunds, the bigger one does FIT in the seat and IS able to turn around and lay down, he just doesn't like not having freedom to run around and jump from seat to seat. I would recommend this car seat, it is a good value and does have good features. I've used this "up" as shown in the photo, and sitting on the seat with the seatbelt on it. It will work either way and does have a small 'leash' inside so your dog can't jump out.

The straps on this carseat are a bit problematic. The attach to the front, which limits the basket for the pup. I think if you have a puppy, or very small dog it is doable. It was only 20$ so I didn't expect much, but also didn't work to my desire also. I ended up taking it out because she was not comfortable. Not sure if it helps to know, but I have an 8 lb mixed terrior. She isn't a large dog. I would say just make sure your dog is more on the smaller side, otherwise pay the money to purchase a bigger and more quality based car seat.

I LOVE this doggy car seat! It's easy to esemble and attach to the car seat and it securely holds my little yorkie.

this is a wonderful way for my mini dashund to travel! she can sit up or lay down, it fits right over the seat, takes 1 minute to install, just make sure you have a headrest for it to slip over. I put her harness on her and then buckle her in, she cannot get out, very safe.
