Seems large at first, but replaces the towel which was in use previously. Plenty of space with for most everything including some pretty large pots. We use the wine racks a lot, and the knife rack hung in front is a safe way to get those sharp edges safely away from everything else.

The size and weight is perfect, I don't need the tall metal piece for fancy glassware, it's kind of in the way, but I like the little ledge to catch the water draining from the knife rack. Overall I'm extremely pleased with this item, which is great because it was a little pricey

The rack is well made and fits our counter very well. Only thing I will say is that we all got the optional knife block which hooks onto this drying rack. But it doesn't connect to the drain tray. Requires a towel under that. But very minor detail to me.

I live in an apartment so my prior dishrack was collapseable in order to help save space. It was over 5 years old and plastic so I decided I needed a new one. SimpleHuman has pretty products so I decided to get one that was pretty. I got the standard size and made room in my small apartment kitchen for it. I love the style/look and it works as well as any dishrack would. I'm very happy with my purchase.

I received the dish rack as a gift a few years ago and after it started to show signs of aging I decided to replace it. The new rack is lower than the old one, which is fine but doesn't let me store things under it anymore. The main change however is that it no longer has the wooden knife drying block which is something I used on a daily basis. I ended up keeping the utensil drying rack/knife block from the old rack however its contours don't fit right in the new tray so it's kinda of just perched inside the new tray. Additionally the utensil drying tray of the new rack is in the back of the rack rather than the front so it's a little harder to get to.
