This machine works well and I'm very happy with it.
as long as the tension is set correctly its a pretty good Machine
Never received my package.
I have owned sergers since 1981. I have lost count how many I have used over the years. This by far and away the absolute worst serger I have ever sewn on. It's loud, it comes unthreaded constantly and it is very difficult to thread. The upper knife is attached at the top, not a loop knife from below ( IYKYK) which makes the needles hard to thread. The lower looper is impossible to reach and the method to thread the back of it is very difficult. Keep in mind I know what I'm doing and have threaded sergers hundreds if not thousands of times. Because it breaks threads and comes unthreaded constantly this a daily frustration. I own another Singer serger which is great but this one is a total dud. I was hoping there was a learning curve and I would get used to it but no avail. Now I think it's too late to return it. What a waste!
It is verry difficult to thread however, once threaded and the tension adjusted for your fabric, it does a very good job. As long as the tension is adjusted for any new fabric the end result can be verry professional. Be patient.
