I love the Sonos products and I have quite a few of them including arc Sonos sub and player and now with two recent purchase of Sonos One. Unfortunately the new Sonos app update is terrible and it needs to be fixed asap. I will be switching from Sonos if this doesn't get resolved asap.
The speaker is perfect, it connected with ease and gives great sound for a small room. I have 6 more Sonos speakers (Five, Arc, etc) and this one is the least powerful, but great for a small room. I would give 5 stars for the speaker. However, with the installation of the new speaker came an update of the Sonos app on my phone. This new app takes very long (over a minute) to connect to the speakers, and I lost all my favorite functionality (like play next or add to end of playlist, etc). Really disappointed that my complete system has lower functionality after the installation of one extra speaker.
We have 2 other speakers, a Sonos One in our artist loft and a Sonos Two in our cottage, and much prefer the older models, so I was particularly pleased to find this refurbished unit. We use it in our mostly open 1400 sq. ft. work studio, and it covers the area very well. I wish these were still available.
I bought my first One SL several years ago to replace a temperamental Bluetooth speaker by a high-end brand. The minute I connected this speaker I was blown away! Fast forward to now, I thought hard about a new Era 300 but found my new One SL on the refurbished products page and I am glad to have made this move! Great dimensional stereo!
Updated two older surrounds with great refurbished deal. Have been a long time user, have more than a dozen different speakers installed. Only comment is since late 2023 have had lots of connection problems even though nothing had changed with my isp or home mesh network. Very annoying because for years everything was bulletproof. Really hoping new controller addresses some of this.
