This DVD came in a case that had been smashed. It will not close all the way now, and that disappoints me, greatly.

I like a lot of sy-fi movies and things like that - I also watched the original star trek and loved those as well

As someone who never watched the original Star Trek series, I didn't expect to like this movie, but I was hooked from the beginning. Lots of action and comedy. Great acting and a good story.

It takes you back to the younger years of Spock, Capt Kirk, ect...gives you a little more insight on how they got to where they are now. Even though it was thought up after the series ran, it put closer on Star Trek. I would recommend it.
