NETGEAR - EAX20 AX1800 Wi-Fi 6 Mesh Desktop Range Extender and Signal Booster

We have a three story home that always had connectivity issue. With the netgear wifi extender, all three floors receive fast and 4k internet.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The range extender is slick-looking it doesn't take up a lot of space. It easily blends into any home or office environment without being a sight distraction. It is assumed that it is working most of the time. Monitoring its performance and what devices are utilizing it is unknown because the Nighthawk app for the extender just simply does not work. The app is needed in order to set up the extender. I needed to download and uninstall the application several times in order to initially set up the extender. Once the extender was set up, I should have been able to use the app to monitor the devices utilizing the extender, checking clock speeds, etc. The app simply stops working. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app several times and I keep having the same result. The app just freezes and stops working. So, I am not able to monitor the devices that are actually utilizing the extender, check clock speeds, or use any of the dashboard features on the app. At this point, I've stopped attempting to utilize the app because I find it to be just a waste of time at this point. Where I am using the extender, I can only assume that it is doing what it is supposed to do but I'm not sure because again I don't have the app to verify. Unfortunately, the Nighthawk application is just useless. It is my recommendation to the company that they get the Nighthawk application overhauled/replaced. The extender might be halfway decent if it had a functioning application for it. Because of that, you don't know. Until NETGEAR gets this app situation straight, I would not recommend this product. To sum up the experience, the word would be aggravating, and the punctuation would be a ?.

This is nice, it works well, easy to setup. Love the fact that it has the four connections in the back for wiring into it. Does not allow you to wire from main router to this extender. Speed is good too.

Worked ok for a couple weeks. Too many issues connecting to the internet even though the app said it was working. I've put a lot of effort and time to get it to be reliable but it seems to be junk. If anyone knows of something that works then let me know.

Very easy setup and works great for my needs. I have an issue with the app not recognizing it's part of my network that I've not been able to resolve, but overall I'm happy with my purchase.
