The Emoji Movie [DVD] [2017]

Take an adventure in the secret world inside your smartphone to Textopolis, a bustling city where all your favorite emoji's live. In this world, each emoji has only one facial expression – except for Gene (T.J. Miller), who is bursting with multiple expressions. Determined to become “normal”, Gene enlists the help of his handy best friend Hi-5 (James Corden) and the notorious code breaker emoji Jailbreak (Anna Faris). Together, these unlikely heroes embark on an epic “app-venture” through the apps on the phone, each its own wild and fun world, to find the code that will fix Gene!

Rowan Atkinson stars in Bean: The Movie on this DVD from Polygram Entertainment, presented with both widescreen and full-screen transfers. The Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround soundtrack is in English and French. Spanish subtitles and English closed captions are also available. Special features start off with biographies and filmographies of director Mel Smith, screenwriter Richard Curtis, and stars Rowan Atkinson and Peter MacNicol. Also included are the original theatrical trailer, two short teasers, and an "I Love L.A." music video featuring New Zealand-based pop group OMC (creators of the 1997 dance-pop hit "How Bizarre").
