The Entertainer (DVD) (Walmart Exclusive), Pearl Records-Terms, Music & Performance

This is perhaps one of the best LIVE performance releases of all time. Garth in his prime and at the top of the world. His energy just jumps off the screen. The only thing preventing this set from getting a 5 Star PLUS rating is the fact that it's on DVD only. There is so much content stuffed into each disc that the bit rate for most of the concerts and music videos is compromised so if your watching this on even the best upscaling Blu-Ray or DVD player you're still going to be disappointed with the resolution on an HDTV of any type. On a normal standard Def TV though it looks just fine! WALMART / GARTH BROOKS...we want a Blu-Ray version of this set!!!

I asked for this set for Christmas, but was a little strapped for cash. I asked my wife to give it a miss. We were shopping today and wanted to look for country music videos to watch while we hung out in our game room. We asked for a price check on the 5 DVD set and the Walmart Associate said $5.00! I dropped it straight in the trolly and said; we're having this! We watched all 5 DVDs before we went to bed! It was nothing other than PERFECT! I wouldn't expect anything else from Garth and I remember now why I love him so much. I have travelled the world and have introduced him to everyone I have met along the way. Adults, Teens and anyone willing to open their mind to country music! We have taken Garth to Greece, Turkey, United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, Spain...Everywhere I have been he has been with me! This set (The Entertainer) depicts everything I love about him! His music is phenominal and it's all right here! You would be silly not to buy this set TODAY!

I bought this without much exposure to Garth Brooks cause i'm basically a workalocoholic ,but I picked up this deal cause I thought it was a excellent collection of his works...I LOVED THIS SET!! Heard most the the songs on the radio but never seen the videos!!! Garth you are AWESOME! Maybe some day you'll come back when the kids grow up...Love your music!!Priced Right...

I purchased the 5-DVD series as a Christmas present for my husband, and after viewing some of it, I couldn't believe how inexpensive it was for some great concert footage. I wasn't even a Garth Brooks fan, but the DVDs are high quality, and I really enjoyed watching the performances. The packaging is good, too. Great price for hours of enjoyment!

I would have written a review on this a long time ago, but just discovered this on the website. I received this set as a gift Christmas of 2006. I LOVE IT! I watch the concerts often and never get tired of them. What a talented showman he is. If he ever does a comeback tour, I will go, even if I have to travel out of my area to go see him live! I just ordered the other two limited edition sets to complete my collection and expect those to be as good as this set.
