Sun Joe SB601E Electric Powered Stringless Trimmer , 12.6-Inch - 4.5 Amp , Rotating Head

I returned this trimmer. The plastic blade wore down very quickly and the trimmer was difficult to control when trying to cut in a detailed manner. I ended up cutting my shoe with it. If you are going to cut grass near cement or stone, it doesn't work well. The stringless concept was good, didn't work for me.

One of the worst things I've ever purchased. I read the reviews good before I purchased. I thought it had enough to warrant buying it. I was wrong I joined the one Stars the first time I used it the wire guard popped off the front and the yellow piece shattered and it costs almost as much as the weed eater to replace it. All I wanted was a weed eater that an elderly old lady could use easily. What I got was a one-time use of a $60 waste of money. And now I still have to go buy another weed eater so I can weed eat my yard do not buy this product. You'll regret it

This edger is a joke! It is very slow for edging, taking much longer than even a cheap string trimmer. It is impossible to get into corners and around sprinkler heads. Won't edge tough grass/weeds at all. Can't trim grass in the cracks of concrete because it would most likely break the blade. The shield is totally flimsy and will most likely break soon. Also fully expect the blade to break like so many other reviewers have said happens. I was just so frustrated with broken string edgers that I had to give it a try. Will use it until the blade or shield breaks then throw it away. The only good thing was that I was able to trim/edge my entire yard without string being messed up.

The initial product worked great on the first day, got a lot done. The second day it did not have the power to do the job. Sent it back, got a new one and it worked great day1 & 2. The only issues I have with the new one is the tempered steel safe measure for distance is not as good as the first and falls off. Secondly the blade guard has the same problem, it too will not stay put. I have to keep a careful eye on it. It is still the best weed eater that I have had. Great product, needs some small improvements..

As an older widow, finding equipment that I can handle is usually most of the job. However, I became familiar with Sun Joe a few years ago when I gathered my courage and purchased the light-weight lawn mower from Sun Joe. With both the mower and now this Stringless Trimmer, they are light, easy to handle and best of all, they work perfectly and perform as you hope and dream they will! I am a very satisfied customer!!
