I like the weight and size of the products
This does not hold a charge for very long. It also comes with only one battery so you have to share it both tools. I leave it constantly charging. If you unplug it, it loses charge. I edge my grass in my front yard. My yard is very small. I have to immediately place it back on the charger. I can then mow my yard but cannot use the blower just yet because it is still charging. So Im not too happy with it. They are both lightweight tools and when charged do work good but again, the battery doesn't stay charged long enough. I feel the tools are made cheaply. They could easily be broken if not stored. The weedeater also replenishes by itself so no need to "tap" it on the ground when more string is needed but I'm not sure how to replace it when needed. I wish atleast two batteries were supplied and I wish the charge would last longer. Otherwise, if you have a small yard these will do. But not a large yard. And I would not be able to complete my front and back yard on the same day because charging takes forever. I charged it the first time and it took over 4 hours to get a full charge. I used the blower once and then the battery had to be recharged again already.
This blower and this edge trimmer combo is light weight and is very manageable. there is no dragging or tugging with these products I'm happy that I oder wish I had one years ago it's well with the the price deal
As everyone before me, same issue with grass getting on a drive shaft and stopping the trimmer. Picked out most of it, worked 2 minutes and melted some plastic that in between housing and spool. No manual, no way to fix it at home. Not a tool you want to own.
Entering my third summer with this trimmer. Despite the fact I've needed to have B&D mail me three new batteries (they die for no apparent reason), I do like the product. However, the auto line feeder stopped working last summer. I can't for the life of me figure out how to fix it. I wind the line extremely carefully and it just will not work. I have to stop every so often and manually release more line. When the battery is full and there is enough line - this product is fantastic. I have a small, midwest, small town subdivision lot. It totally does the job. Quiet too, which I love. Oh - I store everything in my basement throughout the winter. One of the chargers stopped working too. Outside of my extreme issues with the batteries and charger, good when working.
