He is given a pinch of hay periodically as a treat, and it always disappears quickly. The slim bag is closed with a tie and contains the product to ensure freshness and no loose mess in the house. I highly recommend this orchard hay from Standlee Premium Western Forage.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My pet rat loves this. It has a very strong sweet smell and she always comes running out for it when I add some to her cage. She's blind so there's not many snacks she comes running for unless they're very strongly scented.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have two guinea pigs. They seemed to like this hay, but not love it. Normally I have to refill their hay a lot, they didn't go through it as quick as they do their oxbow hay though. It seemed fresh upon opening the bag!

She normally waits until we close her cage to come out for food, but as soon as I filled her bowl, she was out nibbling on it . It smelled fresher than my normal brand and was a different texture than my normal product. I think we will be switching over!
