[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The saw cuts good for the 20 Minutes it runs on a full battery, then you have to wait 60+ minutes for it to recharge Battery gets very hot and will not charge until it cools off Can these batteries explode form heat ? I would not recommend this saw if you have to use for more then 25 minutes of work with it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have reviewed Greenworks 80 Volt products before... We dropped gas powered lawn tools in 2018 and have never looked back... We have paid for our tools many times over in gas price alone... These are great tools and more than 7 years later I am the proof...
I own 3 greenwork tools all using 80V 2.0Ah battery that I use only during summer period. My experience is that the battery have a lifetime span of at most 12 months. For the price I would expect much more. While the tools perform well, I would not recommend due to having to change the battery regularly.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very tough platform, I started with the 40V and am migrating to the 80V, Happy with both but the 80 has the extra oomph.
The Pro series has a lot of power and a good longevity. We've been happy with multiple tools in this range.
