Greenworks - 80V 16” Brushless Attachment Capable String Trimmer with 2.0 Ah Battery and Rapid Charger - Black/Green

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Said goodby to my gas string trimmer and after much research settled on Greenworks powerful professional grade trimmer and it is outperforming my expectations and has a long battey life also. I particularly like the speed control in the throttle. Great tool. I highly recommend this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this trimmer a little over a month ago. I have approximately 400+ feet of trimming to do. This trimmer seems to have the power and Battery power to do the the trimming 2-3 times before having to charge the battery. The actual trimmer I bought was Model BLB479 with a 2 ah battery.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the 16” wire trimmer in 2023. My thought was I'd switch to electric since there's less maintenance and moving parts so the life should be longer than my gas powered one. I was wrong, I only got two summers of use plus this season I've used it three times and now the electric motor has seized up. Very disappointing, US product and with light use in a very small yard it didn't last very long at all.

I have owned a 40 volt trimmer for some time now and there were many times when I was trimming I would come across heavier brush that the 40 volt could not handle or would take a few passes to cut down ! have a number of your 40 and 80 volt tools of which I am pleased with . I tested a couple of them and tried sending you feedback on how they were working ! I was really happy when I saw your 80 volt trimmer that said ATTACHMENT CAPABLE , thats what peaked my interest the most ! I have gas powered equipment with most of the attachments and was I even happier when I ordered your larger weed eater ,the first thing I did was get my gas attachments and checked to see if they really were compatible with yours ! Was I a Happy camper . I,d take it to my other property and decided to get a second one so I would have one at each location ! You have outdone yourselves ! I bought this specifically to be able to attach other cutter heads, and had no problem doing so. It works great, and the attachments work easily. Only issue is the battery. If you are planning on using any other battery, don't. They apparently all make small changes so they won't fit each other. Very frustrating. Same size, just put the groves in a slightly different spot so they are not interchangeable. Only their 80V will apparently fit.
