Good for most applications. You will likely have trouble with heavier microphones. The “hardware” has many hard plastic components.
It did not come with the clip to hold the mic on the stand. Thought this should be standard and was disappointed.
I bought this to hang a heat lamp over my chick brooder. Its sturdy and holds its position. I can raise and lower to adjust the temperature over the Chicks as they grow.
Easy to put together. Great value
Very cheaply made extension Quincy falls apart with little adjustment legs wobbly no practical use even for student spend a few more dollars get something made with more than just plastic materials and thin tubing.
